Who are you?

We are a public group which welcomes new members. The group is very relaxed and open to all.

How did you get started?

The group started because of the passion of members of our staff for reading and as we run a public building, we thought it would be fun to marry the two.

How long have you been going?

Approximately 2 years.

Where and how often do you meet?

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month in the cafe area at The Point on South Parade in Doncaster. DN12DR

What sort of books do you read?

A wide selection of fiction, some members recommend books, we read from prize lists such as The Booker Prize List or The Orange prize List and we also select some titles from our library's reading group lending list.

Which books have provoked the best discussion?

The books which have provoked the best discussion are 'Inside the Whale' by Jenny Rooney and 'February' by Lisa Moore

What was your worst read?

The Alexander Cipher
